Simple FieldingPrivacy
Short version: Simple Fielding doesn't collect anything about you.
- No accounts. There's nothing to sign up for.
- No tracking or analytics. The app doesn't send anything anywhere.
- No ads.
- Settings stay on your device. The field size, playback speed and similar choices are saved in your browser's local storage so they're there next time. Clear your browser data and they're gone.
Like any website, the server keeps standard access logs: the address a request came from, the page asked for, and the time. They're used only to keep the site running, and they aren't shared or sold. The "Buy me a coffee" link goes to buymeacoffee.com, which has its own privacy policy.
Plays you save are stored in your browser on your device, the same way. A share link carries the play inside the link itself, after the #. Browsers don't send that part to any server, so a shared play isn't stored or logged on ours. Whoever you send the link to can see what's in it: the situation, where the ball went, and the name you gave the play. A backup file you export is saved wherever you put it.
Your team's names (if you add a roster) are stored in your browser on your device. They're never sent to us or anyone else.
